Not a VMS

Not a VMS. The layer in front of it.

A VMS manages video: recording, live view, playback, forensics. SupraeNet is the operational layer before that — it decides whether something arrives at all, securely, from a healthy device, and whether it's worth an operator's time. The two are complementary. We don't compete with Milestone, Genetec, Nx, Hanwha, or any other VMS — we make sure they get fed real signal instead of noise.

Side by side

Two different jobs, one chain.

Milestone and other VMS platforms manage video. We determine whether that video arrives securely, alive, and relevant.

Together: verified events can still feed your VMS or PSIM if that's what you want.

What SupraeNet is not

We're not trying to be your VMS.

  • Not a replacement for Milestone, Genetec, Nx, Hanwha NVR, or any other VMS.
  • Not a camera brand.
  • Not "one more analytics plugin inside the VMS."
  • Not a video-wall or forensic-archive product.

Need to know

Frequently asked questions.

Do you replace Milestone or Genetec?

No. We sit in front of your VMS, not instead of it. Verified alerts and footage can still land in your existing system.

Does the customer have to change camera brand?

No. Connectivity and health monitoring are brand-agnostic — they work over the cameras and NVRs already on site.

Does it work on 4G, at masts, or on existing installs?

Yes. The tunnel works over fixed line and 4G/5G, and connects to equipment that's already installed — no camera swap required.

What does the operator actually see?

A verified alert with footage and context, not a raw motion trigger.

How does the cybersecurity side work — no open ports?

Every site connects outbound over an encrypted VPN tunnel. There's no inbound port to open or forget about.

Can verified alarms go into an existing VMS or PSIM?

Yes. That's the intended setup — SupraeNet verifies and filters, your VMS or PSIM keeps doing recording, playback, and response.
